Nestpoint Supports High-Level DRC Discussion on Sovereign Critical-Minerals Data

Washington, D.C., June 2026 — Nestpoint is pleased to highlight a significant strategic discussion involving its client, Dynamic Aviation, and the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the future of sovereign critical-minerals data.

During a meeting in Houston, President Félix Tshisekedi received Michael Stoltzfus, Chairman & CEO of Dynamic Aviation, to discuss a proposed national program for critical-minerals geological data. The discussion centered on aerial imaging, remote sensing, and geospatial mapping designed to produce investment-grade resource data for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Michael P. Murphy, Director of Nestpoint’s Africa and Middle East Division, was proud to accompany Dynamic Aviation in the conversation alongside executives Tim Crane and Molly Mae Potter.

The discussion reflects an increasingly important principle in global critical-minerals strategy: sovereign control over both natural resources and the data that defines their value. As emphasized during the meeting, a country’s ability to independently understand, govern, and deploy investment-grade geological data is essential to negotiating from a position of strength.

For the DRC, that means ensuring that the information layer behind its mineral wealth is owned and governed on Congolese terms. A sovereign critical-minerals data program can help strengthen the country’s ability to attract capital, structure partnerships, and advance industrialization and long-term development from a position of greater clarity and control.

Nestpoint is proud to support conversations that align strategic investment, national development, and long-term value creation. We look forward to continued discussions as the opportunity advances with the relevant government stakeholders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
